You'll get a warm welcome and great food at The Riverside Kitchen.
We want you to feel at home, whether you are after a quick coffee, a working lunch, or an afternoon treat with your friends.
We are situated on the Hadrian’s wall path, close to the Chesters Roman fort and museum.
QUALITY FOOD
We make high quality, home cooked food from the best ingredients – and we always buy local when we can.
For our younger customers, we offer a variety of smaller dishes along with a little something to help keep them entertained.
Everything on our menu is also available to take away.
OUTSIDE SEATING
We have comfortable seating inside and a really nice outdoor seating area.
We welcome well behaved dogs inside too.
Where to find us
We are in the heart of beautiful Northumberland, on the south west of Chollerford Bridge. If you are travelling by road, we are extremely easy to find, just five miles north of Hexham. We are right on the Hadrian’s wall path, close to the Chesters Roman fort and museum - very convenient for walkers or those visiting the wall. For those with time to stay a while, there is also a campsite next door and the George Hotel opposite.
